For many towns, the American Rescue Plan's State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds mark the first time that local governments have managed a federal grant – and all the requirements and obligations that come along with it. Even for larger and more experienced communities, ARP still presents many new challenges.
This webinar, hosted in partnership with the N.C. Association of County Commissioners, will share best practices on how to manage your federal grant. Joined by Edgecombe County Manager Eric Evans and local government consultant and former Wake County COO Johnna Sharpe, we will walk through each step of the ARP grant management process.
What are the first actions a local government should take? How are the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds similar and different to other federal grants? And what are the most important priorities to keep front of mind? This event will cover these questions and more.
